Catch up!

Where does the time go?!? It seems like before I know it's been almost two months since the blog has been updated. This summer has been super busy and has gone by way too fast. I can't believe 4th of July is already over. We started off the summer by heading out to California for a week. My really good friend Heather, who I grew up with, was able to join us so it was an extra special week. We, of course, did Disney, the beach, and the pool. It was just a fun/chill week. Then we came back to Az for a couple of weeks and got ready for our Texas trip. Parker and I headed out to Tx for ten days at the end of June. Parker was in heaven living outside everyday. My parents live out in the country and have everything a little boy could dream of - tractors, a pool, a sand box, a dog, horses, cows, a basketball court, a trampoline, power-wheels, and four-wheelers. We had a blast and couldn't believe how fast it flew by. We then headed to Cali for the Fourth of July, but that will have to be another post. Now that I am going to be home for pretty much the rest of the summer I will really try to keep up with the blog. Warning: Sorry for the picture overload!

Fun Times!

So I guess I will start out by saying that Parker is going to have a little brother!!! We are having another BOY!!!! We are super excited! I must admit that from the very beginning I really thought it was going to be a girl. I just had that feeling. But I really didn't care either way. Now that we know for sure that we are having a boy I am loving it. Although two crazy, wild boys makes me a little nervous. So anyway...that's our fun news.

Last weekend we were very privileged to have our amazing friends, the Littles, come visit us. We love them so much and it was such a fun weekend. We all get a long so well I feel like we have known each other for years. Parker and Ashton play really well together so that is always a relief. We went to the movies, went shopping, had Bahamma Bucks, Cafe Rio, and went to the temple. All of the Az "must dos." We really loved having them here and want them to know they are welcome anytime!!!

Other then that there is really nothing to tell. We are just living life here in Az trying to survive this 100 degree weather. It was so HOT today!!!!!! This is going to be a loooooooong summer. We are going to have to live in the pool.

Keeping Cool!

Well since it hit 100 degrees here this week, Parker and I decided we weren't going to let the heat get us down. Parker loves being in the water and would be in there for hours if I let him. Oh to be a kid again!!!

Thirsty?

Easters!

We had the best Easter. The older Parker gets the more fun holidays get. Easter started on Thursday when we went to the Mesa Temple Easter Pageant. It was beautiful and it just reminded me how lucky we are to live here and how many amazing things we have available to us. I have really thought about the Atonement a lot this past week. I have such a love and testimony for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and his life. I am so grateful to have this gospel in my life.

I love rainbows!

Update!

So finally after two months of not posting anything I am finally feeling a little motivation. I don't understand why but I get in a blog rut and have no desire to do anything with the blog. I love checking everyone else's blogs just not my own. Anyway, the past couple of months have been pretty boring. Parker and I were able to spend a week in Texas a few weeks ago. When we got there it was beautiful weather...in the 80's. Parker lived outside and was loving every minute of it. Then the fun was quickly over when a cold front moved in the next day. So the next five days were spent inside looking out the window at the animals, sandbox, swings, power-wheels, etc...It was so cold and rainy everyday and I, being the smart person from Arizona, was stuck wearing flip flops, the only kind of shoes that I brought. Luckily my mom and I wear the same size. Sadly, I do not have one picture to show for the trip because Sean was nice of enough to forget our camera at work the weekend I was leaving. That's ok though I still love him. It was a fun quick trip and I loved spending time with my parents.
Last weekend I was very blessed to have a visit from two of my dear friends from Rancho. Natalie, Lana, and little Brooke drove down to see us for a few days and it was so fun having them here. I am still so touched that they took the time to drive and spend time with us. We loved having them. Of course we ate way too much and had so many conversations that still make me laugh. You girls are the best and I love you and miss you so much!
Finally I guess I will mention that Parker is going to be a big brother!!! That's right I am pregnant...due Oct. 6 (my birthday)! This was a big surprise but we couldn't be more excited. It has been rough couple of months with feeling sick 24/7 but hopefully there will be a light at the end of the tunnel soon. I thought I saw that light a week ago but then was clearly reminded with a few bad nights that I might have a ways to go. Well I guess that's all there is to tell for now. Life is so good and we couldn't be more blessed!! Oh yeah, I chopped my hair off. For those of you who told me to do it I took your advice and did it. I absolutely love it! It is so easy and so fun to have a change. Sadly I don't have a good picture to show of it.

Proud Cardinals fan! (since there's no LA team) I forgot to post this pic during the Super Bowl.
